Gallena Opens New Performing Arts Center
Gallena University opened the new Williams Center for the Performing Arts
Gallena, CA - March 31, 2009Gallena University opened the new Williams Center for the Performing Arts this week. The Mayor of Gallena, the Gallena University President, and John T. Williams were all present to perform the opening ceremony.
"We are so proud to make the Williams Center for the Performing Arts available to our students and the to the great Gallena community," said president J. Henry Cutter. "It's been a long time coming!"
The new center is the focal point of the Gallena community and a great advancement to the university. The first of it's kind, the new $20 million performing arts center has state of the art green energy systems that allow the building to monitor it's energy usage. Using less than one fifth the power of other similar centers, the new Williams Center for the Performing Arts is expected to save the University $250,000 annually over traditional centers of it's kind.
