High School Teachers vs Professors

Well I’m back from break, and I wanted to write about something I’ve been thinking a lot about recently.  One thing that’s different between high school and college are the instructors. I came from a very small high school where I had formed good relationships with most of my teachers. I thought it might be harder in college to form the same relationships with Professors. Good news is that I have had Professors, even in large lecture classes that I have gotten to know well just by going to class every day.

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone enjoys my favorite time of year — Thanksgiving, aka Turkey Day!

Ready for the Holidays!

Protesting TurkeyI can’t believe it’s just one week before Thanksgiving! I’m so looking forward to my trip back home for a few days. I can almost smell mom’s turkey roasting in the oven. I think Fall is my favorite time of the year. Maybe I’m still a kid at heart, but I love the anticipation of the holidays. Sure, I’ve got finals to deal with afterwards, but I’m ready to go home for one of my favorite breaks. Then it’s back to the books for just a couple weeks of cramming and one loooong break for the year-end - yeah!
